Modelling and Simulation of Projects Improving the Thermal Properties of Buildings

This doctoral thesis deals with the modelling of projects improving the thermal technical characteristics of buildings. The solution of this problem seems to be finding at least one cost-effective option. The basic method of evaluation of cost-effectiveness is represented by the compilation of all corresponding cash flows and their rendering in time through discounting. The aim of the docáral thesis is the processing and modeling of individual investment options related with improve the thermal-technical properties of buildings and finding a cost-optimal variants, ideally. One of the expected outputs is to develop a comprehensive methodology (modeling and simulation task) useful for defining all potential investment projects improving variant thermal-technical properties of the object.

Business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Germany with example of a particular company

This thesis focuses on the analysis of economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. The first part is focused on an analysis of the position of Germany in the global economy and international trade. Its position and economic development are compared with the Czech Republic. In the next section is evaluated trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. In the practical part is introduced a German company F. X. Meiller, which has a manufacturing facility in the Czech republic since 1993. For the Czech subsidiary were conducted PESTLE analysis and financial analysis. As a follow-up to the analysis of the financial situation of the company have been proposed new approaches, which might help to solve the problems that the company faces.

Impact of USA trade policy on their position in global trade

The main aim of the thesis is to determine factors that influence USA trade policy. Secondary objectives are to specify the influence of USA trade policy on their economy and also to determine the trends of major trade policy measures of USA from 1990 until now. Theoretical part is about theory of trade policy in general and application on USA trade policy. Practical part of the diploma thesis includes the facts of US economy, trade policy, multilateral and bilateral agreements and territorial and commodity trade structure. Practical part of the thesis covers also perspectives of future of USA and responses to the objectives set out in the introductory part. In the thesis have been used methods of observation, synthesis and analogies.

The diploma thesis describes accession of Croatia and Macedonia to the European union. It analysis their economic situation in context of comparison with EU member states. The information about competitiveness are brought. The goal of the thesis is to clarify readiness of both countries for integration within the EU. Their economy and competitiveness will be evaluated. Integration process is described from two point of view: European union as well as Croatia and Macedonia. There is overview of actual status and negotiation progress of both countries on their way to the EU.

The thesis deals with Luxembourg and its position in the European Union. It contains description of the economic characteristics and development of basic macroeconomic indicators of the country in the last decade. The thesis also evaluates the status of Luxembourg in the entire EU-27 based on a comparison of basic macroeconomic indicators. Finally, it sums up history of the European Communities in Luxembourg and subsequently in the European Union. Reader can find out information about last Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union and country's attitude to highly debated issues in the EU.

Bachelor thesis introduces basic information about Republic of Lebanon, its cultural and business particularities which are different from other arabic states. This thesis also analyse economic situation, macroeconomic indicators, mutual business and cooperation between Czech Republic and Lebanon. The objective is to provide wide spectrum of information about interests of lebanese environment, possible risks and advantages for businessmen.
